The Sage & Honey Spa Story

It all began when Nichola Mente, owner and esthetician, had her first facial when she was 14 at LaBelle Spa in Palo Alto. It was a gift from a friend that would introduce her to a new world of beauty. She had always wanted to do something in cosmetics or perfume for her career but that was not advised, being a doctor or engineer was better…the Bay Area was all tech. From there, Nichola excelled as an Executive Assistant for Silicon Valley leaders and when stress took a toll on her complexion; thankfully there were spas with relaxing, rejuvenating facials and spa services. Nichola visited Elisha Marie Spa (her favorite spa in CA) at least once a month for a facial, lashes, spray tans and other beauty services to reset and refresh. Every time Nichola left the spa wishing she could do what Elisha does one day!

In 2018, Nichola and her husband Orion moved their family to Bend for a slower paced life and to have more time with their kids and nature. They moved to a farm, bought some goats, chickens and nestled into a new dream life. In 2020 Nichola made the jump, followed her dreams and completed esthetics school in Bend, Oregon. She opened Sage & Honey Spa on their farm in March 2021 in Bend, near Tumalo and Redmond.  

The pristine spa offers a full range of clinical skincare and beauty services including: makeup, lash extensions, facials, waxing, sugaring, customized spray tanning and bridal packages specializing in vegan and clean lines including Sanitas Skin care and Arbonne.
